Making Memoirs Memorable
Autobiographies should logically not have an audience of more than the six interested readers. But still people give it a shot hoping against hope that millions will want to know every mundane detail about their drab lives. Publishers who've invested in the manuscript always urge the authors to reveal something spicy, something scandalous, something...just about anything that can make people empty their wallets. I've always wondered why not call it Bio-Fic (the country cousin of Bio Pic). Bio-Fic is Bio Fiction. And that's what most memoirs are these days.
