Making the Leap from Digital to Physical (DTC)

NEW VENTURE ANNOUNCEMENT - Here I go again. ???Time to scratch the itch and start something.?Announcing my next venture:?Seat Square with Natalie Gallifent and Andrew Gallifent .?Seat Square (SS) is a stylish, portable, specially designed fabric-square for seats. It protects clothing, bare legs, and butts against seat grids, grime, and sweat.?

SS has been a long time coming (since 2019) - but was mothballed (until now) because of COVID.?It's been a blast to work on this, and we're pretty excited about the reception so far.

This project is going to push our limits, capabilities and knowledge AND we wouldn't have it any other way - it's the best way to grow!?

This our first time:

• Starting a Direct to Consumer (for now) business
• Inventing and manufacturing a physical product
• Using Kickstarter to raise funds (through pre-sales) and test market acceptance
• Dealing with all the crap of online and eCommerce - shipping and returns, logistics (supply chain, warehousing etc.), technology (web, marketing, crm etc.), eCommerce sites and setup, and marketing (stacks and hacks)
• Acting as scriptwriters, film directors and producers, actors, copywriters, product photographers, eCommerce leads, pricers, shippers, coffee and snack makers...

We'll be sharing our journey and all the lessons learned (good and bad) on LI. So stay tuned for more posts.

Last but not least - we're scared sh*tless about doing this - and that's a good thing.?We know and expect sh*t to go sideways.?But we believe in ourselves, and are confident that we can do anything, and will FIO!?And who give's a f*&k if you fail, at least you tried and will have NO REGRETS!
