The day this picture was taken in May 2019, Bong Joon-ho just made history by winning the Palme d'Or at Festival de Cannes. Last night it happened again: PARASITE is the first non-English language film to be awarded with an Oscar for Best Picture - in 92 years of Academy Award history. He returns home with four statues for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Picture and the Oscar for Best International Film. What an unbelievable success story! For such a clever mind as his now only the sky can be the limit. Congratulations on this historic night!
