Making a Friend …
Romans 12:19-21 ~ ”Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. ?On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head. “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”?
Abba Father good morning ~ Anger, bitterness, resentment, revenge. Powerful words reflecting unhealthy feelings if left brewing within our heart, our mind, our soul. Feelings destroying lives of real people living real life festering into bitter hatred if not extremely careful. Everyone has been a recipient and instigator of anger. It’s the action of taking revenge causing barriers of unhealthy separation. Intentionally or unintentionally slowly becoming embedded into lives of those affected. Revenge is intentionally taking-action or attempting to control a situation with personal gratification becoming focus-of-motive. Revenge always destroying with hurtful brokenness. Bringing destruction to marriages, separation within family’s, destroying friendships, restricting relationships, instilling bitterness within life. Slowly consuming everyday life to a point of isolation. Allowing this seed of anger to grow deep roots within our inner-core of thriving life. We miss the real everlasting treasures of everyday life. All of life is precious treasures intended to draw our life intimately closer to “The Lord Our God.” As we push aside. Reject. Ignore treasures of life. We cause unhealthy barriers of separation between our life and Our Living God who loves all of life personally, unconditionally, intimately. This conflicting separation will bring extreme darkness with despair while penetrating hopelessness into everyday life. Remember ~ The ways of this world justifies anger, bitterness, resentment, revenge. Motivations intended to intimidate, influence, control will actually destroy our way of life. This life ‘The Lord Our God” intended for our life to intimately love will become infested within unhealthy motives. Tolerating the ways of this world will expose power of separation. How are we handling our feelings of anger, bitterness, resentment, revenge? Where do we turn at moments of rage? Who justifies our actions? What feeds our feelings at moments of outrage? The living bible teaches about reaching out with unconditional love, extending compassionate forgiveness, and being tolerance even when it hurts deeply within our heart, our mind, our soul. Reading the living bible, holding it within our hands, embracing this living truth; our heart, our mind, our soul. The very inner-most-core of our thriving life will be transformed from the ways of this world to the ways of “The Lord Our God.” We learn to overcome moments of rage with intimate prayer, personal reflection, Godly wisdom: instilling everlasting calmness into moments of outrage. We will remember it is better to make a friend than be an enemy. Extending love rather than hatred. Willingly embracing the living bible; God’s holy word will plant seeds of truthfulness deep within our heart, our mind, our soul spouting all fruits of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. The same Fruits of the Spirit “Our Lord Christ Jesus” extends to our life personally at moments of sinfulness. Christ Jesus’s personal life taught the world the greatest example of agape love on an old wooden cross. Praying to God the Father and seeking forgiveness for outrage of hatred inflicted on his innocent sacrificial life. Extending unconditional love, compassionate forgiveness, and intentionally reaching out into the world with free-gifts of life-changing undeserved grace when least deserved. Anointed everlasting gifts absolutely un-earnable, un-purchasable, un-creatable, and the ways of this world can never provide. Free-gifts of God’s powerful cleansing, redeeming, restorational undeserved grace breathing everlasting life (Holy Spirit) into life’s brokenness (our sinfulness) within anointed sustainable life (Christ Jesus) from everlasting life in heaven (Abba Father) releasing all anger, bitterness, resentment, revenge. Free-gifts our life can breathe within every moment of life’s brokenness with everlasting hope, unconditional love, compassionate forgiveness, everlasting life in heaven. Remember ~ Undeserved grace is living a life of Godly faith willingly believing, accepting, trusting, following within God the Father ~ God the Son ~ God the Holy Spirit. What lives deep within our heart, our mind, our soul will be the utmost difference in making a friend or being an enemy. We have a choice, a decision, a way of life to choose. Revenge or forgiveness is a way of life. Revenge destroys within bitterness. Forgiveness unifies within agape love. ?
