Making it Easy for Prospects to Buy from You

Focus on one thing.

This phrase is on my office whiteboard. It's right in front of my face.

We complicate things.

We want people to understand and connect the dots.

We expect prospective clients to grasp our messages.

They can't.

And they won't.

Especially when presentations are self-serving and scripted.

Confusion sends people away.

The responsibility is on you (and me) to be crystal clear communicators.

Clear communication brings contracts, connections, and profits.

Make it easy for people to buy from you.

Go for simplicity.

??Our brains are collectively fried.

Clients have plenty of information about way too much stuff.

Most of it is irrelevant to them.

They don't want more information.

They want a straightforward solution to their problem.

Focus on that.

Agreed. It is the KISS principle; keep it simple, stupid. Focus on what you will do to solve their problem, not how great you and your firm are.
