Diversity: Driving real progress

Diversity and inclusion matter, companies should take more daring steps to create inclusive cultures that ensure no one is left behind. Both are essential for the company’s ability to recover and be resilient. Having each representation creates a highly positive solution to every situation.

Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia are all represented in our organization. Since the foundation of the company, we have demonstrated that remarkable performance results from collaborating with people of different backgrounds and talents.

We invest in individuals via training and development to further refine their skills, so inclusion doesn't end when we hire them. Estithmar also focuses on the health of our employees, especially in these tumultuous times. To support our staff to cope with the current environment, we provide physical and emotional health services. Our productivity has grown and staff engagement has improved as a result of our adaptation to this new style of working. We know we still have to do more to further diversity, especially in a very "traditional" industry and we will, over time

Through our trainings and seminars, Estithmar is investing heavily in developing our workforce while also enhancing organizational performance. We use these three sorts of growth—intellectual stimulation, inspiration, and decision-making—all of which are essential to effectively addressing upcoming global concerns.

The strength of diversity and inclusion supports the expansion of the company and enhances corporate performance. Both go hand in hand since there is a significant association between higher organizational health, which is linked to business performance, and good behavior.

One thing that we also observed in the early phases of the COVID-19 pandemic is that having a varied team really aided crisis management and crisis recovery. We really do owe it to our teams across the organization to where we are today.

While it is true that diverse talent may be most at risk as the crisis continues, making jobs vulnerable, we take pride that we became adaptive and have developed effective teams and recognized diversity as a competitive advantage.

Estithmar has a diverse staff that represents a strong organization from five clusters: industries, contracting, ventures, healthcare, and services.

And the establishment of this diverse workforce grows more compelling each year – from representation of women to retraining our staff. We know we can and must do even more to foster further diversity and we will, over time.

We know that the potential benefits of diverse backgrounds and mixed gender will create a new and improved paradigm in any business organization.
