Making a Difference in Your Own Life

I grew up Christian, and I've found no reason to stop calling myself that, even though over my six plus decades, I've come to some understandings that probably differ from that of some of the myriad Christian churches. Still, though, I tend to think in terms of Holy Spirit, God, and Jesus when prayer comes to mind. And, prayer, in my experience, is the single greatest tool any of us has in our toolboxes. Of course, even though I call it prayer, if you are able to go through the entire process I have outlined/shared in this article, you might say it's very similar to other processes: Goal setting, Master Mind, Silva mind control processes, etc. I think the key is that whatever you call it, or however you need to reframe this process, I have taught it in workshops to people across the country and have both experienced its power and have received positive comments from many people. And, after all, it can't hurt to try. Blessings, Jason

=================================================

It is said that words have enormous power. In the Bible, we’re told, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” We’re also told that God but spoke the word and the thing came into being. For example, “Let there be light, and there was light.”

From ancient Sumerian texts, many have come to believe that language was originally matched to objects. In other words, at an atomic and subatomic level, all things vibrate at specific frequencies. So when God said, “let there be light,” it’s likely that the command wasn’t in words. Rather, God set up a thought vibration which resulted in light. Today, the closest most of us can come to understanding this is to say that a word was spoken and an action resulted.

Our words have power. Anyone who has ever been hurt by an insult or had their heart flutter and get butterflies in their stomach by someone else whispering sweet nothings in their ear understands this. Words have power, both at the intellectual level and at the very real physical level.

All of this is summarized by the phrase, “Name it and claim it.” Whatever we choose to have in our lives, we can begin the process of manifesting it by:

  1. Creating very clearly defined objectives
  2. Speaking those objectives loudly to the universe

There are caveats that accompany this process, though. It’s not enough to simply start talking about what we want. We have to be careful about several things. Some of them are listed here.

  1. Be clear that no matter how detailed we make our prayer requests, it’s likely we will leave something out. Include statements which give the Universe/God room to make it better than we have described (…this or something better.)
  2. Writing these down and then reading them aloud is helpful. If we try to ride a bicycle up a hill, it helps to get a head start by backing away and building up some speed first. This is called “building momentum.” It works the same way with our prayers. The more often we say them aloud and focus our attention on them, the faster the manifestation process works.
  3. Don’t share your prayer goals with anyone else unless the other person is going to support you in the process. Also don’t expect that the people you think will be supportive or think should be supportive will be.
  4. Doing this process both early in the morning and late at night, and then anytime you have the time during the day makes it more powerful, too.

I’m going to do one for you and give you an idea of what the process is that I’ve been using for several years. This is actually the process that I used to teach in my workshop, “Whatever You Want, Whenever You Want: Creating the Life of Your Dreams.”

The Process

  1. Invoke
  2. Command
  3. Clarify what IS
  4. Command specifics
  5. Clarify what is TO BE
  6. Indicate Acceptance
  7. Bless
  8. Command/AUM

Invoke

[This can be any deity the person recognizes as having power. A Christian would typically call on Jesus and/or Saints, although I tend to call on both and more.]

In the name of (insert your power source here), I now call upon the power of Light, Love, and the Holy Spirit to work in and through me and in and through all those around me to affect this clearing, healing, and manifestation.

Command

I hereby command that any and all energy patterns in me or acting upon me or those around me …

Clarify what IS

that would result in (insert problem here; e.g., ill health, poverty, pain, relationship problems, etc.) …

Command Specifics

…be cleared, released and transmuted into light, love, and flowing energy which creates…

Clarify what is TO BE

the positive opposite (insert the opposite of the problem; e.g., if the problem is ill health, claim ‘full health—my body is in perfect health, totally aligned with its highest and best expression of self’).

Indicate Acceptance

I now recognize the presence of God in every person, thing, and circumstance present in my life, those I have and those I desire. I acknowledge God’s presence and accept that God has planted in me a dream or desire of something different, and as such, I now accept these people, things, and circumstances as being OF God and FROM God. I now release all resistance to the presence of these people, things, and circumstances and bless them as they are. I am NOW ready to release these things to go on to their next perfect manifestation as something better. By recognizing the presence of God in every person, thing, and circumstance, and by blessing and releasing them, I free myself from the discomfort, pain, or sadness they have caused me. I have learned the lessons that every one of them brought me and I am grateful for these lessons. I acknowledge that God is the source of all things in the world and in my life, and as such, I give thanks for the lessons I’ve learned. I now release all these people, things, and circumstances to be transmuted into light, love, and flowing, life-building energy in my life and the lives of those around me.

I now receive the blessings of life, love, health, wealth, and happiness from the movement of the Holy Spirit in and through me. As I receive these conditions, I embody them, allowing my life to be a continuous experience and expression of full liveliness, feeling loved and loving at all times, full health, abundant wealth, and magnificent happiness.

Bless

I now bless God for the gifts I’ve received and will receive and for the lessons I’ve learned and opportunities I’ve been presented with to grow and mature. As I bless God, I also bless these lessons and the people who have helped me learn these lessons as well as those who have come into my life both as teachers and students to help me learn the lessons better. In blessing these things, I open myself to receive, embody, experience, and express even more goodness, light, love, health, and wealth throughout my life, both for myself and others.

Command/AUM

I call and claim these blessings for myself and everyone I know. Amen, amen, and amen. And, so it is.

At this point, I generally try to take at least a few minutes and tone the AUM. If you haven’t ever done this, check YouTube for AUM videos. They’re usually from 20 minutes to a couple of hours long. AUM is supposed to be the voice of the universe, and when we chant the AUM, it is supposed to bring us more into alignment with the creative power of our prayers.

If you have made it through this whole thing, I strongly urge you to actually try it. If you make it a habit, make a habit of keeping track of the things you are working to manifest. Maybe as many as 12 (there are 12 major areas of life, so this is a reasonable number), but 7 or fewer to begin with might be more effective in the short term.

Whatever you do, God's Blessings on you, despite the political incorrectness.
