Life's all about having a fresh beginning every day but from where we had stopped the previous day. I remind this to people every now and then because human beings are used to forgetting things. I have traveled through several chapters of human life. Joy and Sorrow; Cry and Cheer; Love and Hatred; Success and Failure and what not? For a very long period of time, I had in my mind that either of these extremes is being faced by people based on their actions. One fine day, the hero of our story told that these are just intervals like speed bumps on the road. It all depends on how we accelerate to thrust further.
I am not sure why but after reading his message that concluded the story, a smile popped out of my face from nowhere. By the time I read this, my owner was sobering over her loss. Not loss of a match or tournament or a priceless possession, neither a person nor a pet. Wondering what? Even I couldn't find it. She wept badly that I was also about to shed tears. I wanted to read out to her the message of the hero in the story but what if she finds out that I have a life? While I had been thinking about it...!
"I lost those 10 minutes in my life. I should have come before he left to check-in. Now I am going to miss him for 5 years. Leave the technology that has drawn out so many applications that will help me talk or see him on a video call. Will he be there for me when I need his pieces of life hacks? The fragments of advice from him that has made me come this far in career?" I couldn't stop crying when I heard this from my owner talking over the phone with her mother.
Don't be judgemental! I'm not overhearing anybody's conversation. I was placed on the previous page. I gently peeped into the last page that had this message from the hero. I know I was impatient until my owner could read it. I also have life and emotions. I couldn't resist myself from doing this because I can't wait for suspense for a long time. It's been three days since she opened this amazing best-seller where I was placed in between the last two pages. Yes, I am Tim, the Bookmark!
She gently wiped her tears, grabbed the book to get done with the last page. The story ended with the message from our hero. It brought a smile on her face. She told to herself, "My brother shall get back soon and we shall cheer together again. It is not going to be 5 continuous years for him there. There are vacations in between. He would be here soon".
Selling is all about "making a difference". There are millions of products in the world with thousands of them in the same category. One in a million makes a difference with a huge sale and audience base.
