Making a difference... helping those in need. It's why I'm so #proudtobe part of Team Kellogg at times like this!

As I’ve watched our country burn these past few weeks, I have been blown away by the response from communities, organisations, and the general public to get behind those in need. Having grown up surrounded by National Parks and wildlife and having spent time in so many of the areas impacted, I too have wanted to help make a meaningful difference, and I am so fortunate to work for an organisation that holds helping others in need, as a core principle.

Being a food manufacturing company, we partner closely with farming communities around the country and rely heavily on the land from which our ingredients come from. So whether it be the drought stricken farming communities or the towns and people impacted by the devastating bushfires up and down the east coast, I am so #proudtobe part of the Kellogg team that are focussed on making a meaningful difference to those that have been impacted… not only as part of the initial disaster relief but we’ll be continuing to explore ways we can help with the rebuilding efforts in the months ahead.

To support the bushfire relief efforts, we have recently donated $500,000 worth of cereal and snacks to Food Bank to distribute to those that need it most. We’re also matching employee donations to charities helping out on the frontlines or with wildlife rescue efforts.

There is a long road ahead, but it’s reassuring to know that as a nation, we are seeing incredible and unprecedented displays of generosity from individuals, communities and organisations to help as these communities begin to rebuild their lives.
