Making This Cute PowerPoint Ad Is Easier Than You Think
If you love using PowerPoint, not necessarily for animations, try the simple techniques I've shown in this article to make a nice-looking product ad.
For the simple tool that it is, PowerPoint has some cool advantages to make animated ads. Will come to them shortly, but first take a look at the GIF below for the ad.
I've made a video tutorial that comes later in this article, so you'll have the idea on how this is done.
PowerPoint's biggest advantage for animated ad
There're quite a few plus points for using PowerPoint for animations, many of which I've covered in previous editions of this newsletter, especially this, this, and this one.
I've been working with PowerPoint animations for more than a decade, so from that angle of 'experience', you might want to read the articles for practical perspectives.
Here, let me point out the biggest advantage that PowerPoint offers to create animated ads.
You can combine 2 or more animations for a single object in a slide.
This is really cool.
For more examples, glance through my Pinterest or Behance portfolio to get a feel of how I use PowerPoint for animation ads in VidBazaar.
Animate any which way you want
This is true, literally. The possibilities are well, almost endless.

Let me take you through the 2 animations I've used in the ad in this article.
They are - 1/ Strips, and 2/ Basic Zoom.
Now, if you check out Strips animation, you'll find you can use it 4 directions, both for Entrance & Exit.
The other animation, Basic Zoom, has 6 Effect Options.
That means, you can make up to 15 different sets of combo-animations for Entrance or Exit with just 2 options.
That's not all.
You can change the timings and/or sequence of the 2 animations to bring about even more variations.
This is a great value, if you ask me.
Let's now watch the video tutorial below.
Takeaway
Admittedly, not all combinations will look nice. But the best part of doing this is that it can open up your creative urge to try different animations. Sometimes you may discover new combinations of PowerPoint animations, like for example, simultaneously sequencing Entrance and Exit effects, that I'm experimenting now, with little or no time lapse.
In the coming editions, expect more examples of PowerPoint animation ads. Stay tuned.
