Making Coronavirus Recession Lemons Into Career Lemonade

Making Coronavirus Recession Lemons Into Career Lemonade

The coronavirus recession could destroy your career ...

Or you could use this recession to improve your career, landing a better job than the one you left.

It's your choice. You don't have to be the best looking, most talented, most qualified or smartest candidate to make the coronavirus recession into your career lemonade.

It's your choice ...

In the past 2 recessions I saw candidates who thrived, using change to advance their careers. But most candidates struggled, many taking safety jobs at lower pay just to keep a roof over their heads.

There were clear differences in how the successful candidates searched vs what the candidates did who struggled.

The unsuccessful candidates failed to change their resume and job search to adapt to greater competition. Most candidates just got bad advice from outplacement or from most career coaches/authors based on strategies for low competition levels. Others paid to have resumes written by certified professional resume writers, without realizing how poorly their resume sold them to employers. Still others tried to DIY, either because they thought they knew how or because they would rather have their job search struggle than pay for expert advice.

Any of these sound like you?

The successful candidates learned how to adapt to new job market realities. They understood that strategies based on random applications, volume and luck (taught by outplacement and most career coaches/authors) failed during a recession. They realized that an average resume prepared by certified resume writers, resume "mills" or job board resume services delivered a resume that failed to market them effectively. They sought out knowledge, restraining themselves to job search in a recession, rather than trying to apply what they did in their last job search.

Why not learn how successful job seekers advance their careers during recessions, so you can land a great job during the coronavirus recession?

This is the 3rd recession I've recruited/coached through, so I've seen first hand what resume and job search strategies succeed for job seekers during recessions. I've also seen mistakes candidates make, causing their recession job searches to fail. I've been through this before and know what works and what doesn't.

That's why numerous job seekers who work with me have already gotten job offers in the last month.

As a top national recruiter who reads hundreds of resumes per day, who has helped hundreds of thousands of candidates in their job search, and seen thousands of employers' job search processes from the inside, I've got a different perspective than most career coaches.

I see that most job seekers do essentially the same things, even when they think they are job searching differently. I also see most job seekers were taught search methods that eliminate them from consideration, because they conflict with the employer's hiring process.

But I've been helping job seekers implement job search and resume change to find a great job fast (even if you're unemployed or over 40) - and I've been doing this for 13+ years. I'll show you how to accelerate your job search by understanding employers' point of view, hiring processes and how they change during recessions.

(I'm not just a career coach. I've also been a top national recruiter for the last 16+ years ... so you'll get advice from an insider's point of view.)

Let me show you what you can do now to change your job search and resume so you can accelerate your job search during the recession, even if you're between jobs or age 40+.
