Making Content Matter

Making Content Matter

Yesterday my son handed me a 5 page comic he had created and I'll shamefully admit the thought of "more content to read" ran through my head as I picked it up.

Every author hopes their content is read by someone.  Every publisher hopes that content is read by lots of someone's. But the facts are clear that getting people's attention across an ever growing sea of content is extremely difficult.

211 million pieces of online content are created every minute

There are so many great pieces of journalism that unfortunately don't get the attention they deserve.  Video can help.

Create a quick Video teaser of what the story is about and drive more excitement and engagement.

This week at WAN/IFRA I will be speaking and showcasing the ability for any storyteller to create a video in minutes and help elevate their content above the millions of choices.   If you can't make it to Mexico City follow along at #DML15.

And in case you are wondering I did read my son's comic, and it was amazing.
