Making Children Friends With Technology

Through the years, technology has revolutionized our world and the manner we live our lives. With time, cutting-edge technology has paved the way for multi-purposeful and greater power pact devices. Computer systems are a lot quicker, more portable, and better-powered than ever before. With all of these revolutions in technology, there may be absolute confidence that the world is transferring towards more and more technically superior surroundings.

In times when technology is a necessity in a child's life, Sharad Bansal thought of making technology easy for them. He decided to make every child familiar with technology at a young age. Tinkerly's vision is to empower kids to create a future that will be based on creativity and logical thinking. As the name suggests, Tinkerly tries to make unstructured learning into a meaningful one.?

Tinkerly is a company that is helping school-going students to develop technical skills that would help them in their careers and Tinkerly also makes learning fun and interesting. The team works with school students as well as children at home and these children contribute to how technology will shape the future. The uniqueness of Tinkely is that they not only give live classes but also provide course kits that would get delivered to students' homes so that they could implement their learning on a physical device and also enjoy what they have learned.?

Sharad believes that whatever you teach the students should be used in the near future. They try to empower the students by making them problem solvers and by teaching them necessary skills through technology. “Building this type of workforce has always excited me”, says Sharad. We are coming up with more affordable courses where children learn digitally and gather hands-on physical knowledge. “Tinkerly is also now focussing on the vernacular content so that local students could also get to learn the technical skills and expertise in various domains”, says Sharad.

Nowadays Edtech companies are just leveraging the opportunity that has been created by Covid.? Sharad says,” Education programs can only be successful when they can produce outcomes otherwise it is very difficult to sustain an Ed-tech company”. This is where Tinkerly finds its advantage, where they have experience with working alongside schools and the methodology they have built over the years helps the company to sustain longer.

According to Sharad, the qualities of a true entrepreneur include-

An entrepreneur should possess a strong mindset to achieve his goals and progress through the ups and downs of his startup’s journey and sustain all of that.?

One needs to possess some sort of skills pertaining to financial or technical skills to gain an advantage in entrepreneurship and turn one’s ideas into reality.

The sooner you start your startup, the more advantageous it will be and you can take better risks when you start early.?

Sharad identifies that having a mentor is helpful as well as advantageous for a startup, so one should choose a mentor carefully. A mentor can be anyone, a family member, or a friend. The mentor has to guide the startup to go toward the path of success. A mentor can help in limiting the mistakes that one does and help in saving time and also help in monitoring the startup.

Sharad's advice for new entrepreneurs is that if you want to move into entrepreneurship you need to have an entrepreneurial mindset, you need to have an appetite to sustain with your startup. He says, “One should never give up if you face failure and you should keep trying to sustain your startup. The idea should be good and should not be based on financial gains. It should solve the problem to which your idea is attached so that you can create an impact in terms of creating the right value to the system”. “This keeps you empathized and innovated in terms of finding better solutions than there is that is currently in the market. Finally, you should be completely attached to your idea and what it achieves to solve", adds Sharad.
