Making It Better With Our First Live Film Screening

This has been a busy month for?the podcast, and for The Last House Standing?and Move the World Films.??We had our first live screening of the film at the Terrace Theater in Charleston, South Carolina. Thanks to Chris Marino for making it happen. The best part was getting to hear comments on the film in person and answer some great questions from the audience. Click here to see a little bit of what went on at the screening.

This past Friday I was a guest of Cliff Tooher on this blog/podcast called Candid Conversations. You can listen to the entire interview by clicking here.?We talked about The Last House Standing and why people continue to buy houses in risky areas and aren’t demanding safer houses from builders. Cliff does a great job of asking important questions.

Hurricane season should be cranking up over the next several weeks. Let’s hope the big storms miss us, but the reality is somebody is going to get hit, and if it’s an area with vulnerable homes there will be millions if not billions of dollars in damage. As Professor Joseph Barbera said in?The Last House Standing, HOPE is not a strategy.

If you get a chance, please check out our podcast?Tell Us How to Make It Better. Next week will mark our 52nd?episode, and if you can listen, subscribe, and as a bonus leave a review, that will really help us grow.
