One day at a time

Says my heart

Live to live the life

That one has missed


We have read the lines 

But missed the words between

We have closed the book

The contents still enclosed within.


Live Life 

Not as a calendar 

Of years gone by or to go

Live anew for things 

Not done, Nor Loved.


Slow down

De accelerate

Learn to pause

And look beyond the obvious


Wait a second every second

Space time to read its magnitude

And never live in the past or the future

For the present does not wait.


Make the autumn count.
