Maketewah’s Ross Restoration Project

Cincinnati, OH – Maketewah is two weeks into Phase III Coursework, with the Master Plan in progress, to make Maketewah the best Donald Ross course in the Midwest. These are exciting times at Maketewah, as the original Donald?Ross?feel to the course is restored, and a look to the future of our Club is realized. We bring to you in real time the long anticipated aesthetic and strategic plan with a series of updates here on Linkedin.

Prior to groundbreaking on September 6, golf course architect Brian Silva met with our Course Superintendent, Ted White, to mark fairways and bunkers for Phase III of the?Ross?Master Plan. With the revitalization now under way, we couldn’t be more excited to see the dramatic changes starting to take place.

“During week 2, dramatic changes are taking shape, especially on #11 and #3. T-1 / Alpha re-seeding took place this week on the fairways, and bunker shaping has begun.”
-Ted White, Superintendent
