It makes sense when you look back.

In moments of self-reflection, I often find myself marveling at the twists and turns that have shaped my life. It's like looking at a map of my journey and realizing that every detour, every closed door, and every restart has a purpose.
Life is a series of "had-to-happens." Doors closed, opportunities slipped away, and I found myself starting over. It wasn't easy, but in those moments of uncertainty, I discovered resilience I didn't know I had.
The big question is, did I learn from those ups and downs? And more importantly, am I using those lessons in my life today?
Maybe, like many of us, I've been so caught up in the hustle—applying for new opportunities, charging forward without looking back too much. But here's the thing: taking a moment to look back, not with regret but with a kind of understanding, can be surprisingly comforting.
So, here's a friendly reminder to pause and take a breath. It's okay to reflect. Those closed doors and fresh starts weren't roadblocks; they were detours leading me to where I am now. And trust me, in those reflections, there's a wealth of wisdom and strength that might make today's challenges a bit more manageable.
As we keep moving forward, let's carry the lessons from our past. They're not anchors holding us back; they're winds pushing us forward. After all, the best lessons are often hidden in the chapters we've already written.

9 个月Hi Shirley. Thank you for asking me to read this and subscribing to it. I have been doing a lot of self-reflection and this sums it up perfectly. Plus the Bible reminds us that in this life we will have tribulations. So yes. It makes much sense when I look back and see how blessed I am. God bless you for these inspiring and timely words.
