Maker / Editor - Los Angeles

SUMMARY

The Maker/Editor?will report to the Director of Production and be a creatively focused production resource. Their primary focus will be working on all-scale projects from conception through production execution and delivery. The role will focus on applying creative interdisciplinary maker skills across all projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4 years of experience as a Content Editor
• Proficiency in at least one other relevant creative skill set – animation, Director of photography, color
• Strong knowledge of the overall production process from conception through delivery in the advertising industry
• Advanced knowledge of Premier required
• Proficiency in Final Cut, After Effects, Photoshop, and Resolve a plus
• Employ additional Maker skills from a variety of creative disciplines (such as animation, camera operation, music, design, copywriting and/or directing)
• Shoot and edit projects
• Edit/Animate content
• Build custom reels and case studies for presentations of work to executives or clients. Operating camera on small-scale shoots
• Loading, organizing, and editing footage on small-scale shoots
• Creating music searches and music edits

The standard range for this role is roughly $100,000-$120,000. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, skills, potential impact, and scope of role.
