???????? Three extremely important questions that can make or break your interview experience.
?? Sharing some HR insights on how you can handle these:
Q1. Why do you want to work here?
You cannot say, "I need money" or "I desperately need a job." Don't project any desperation at all. It's a BIG NO for them.
?? Do some company research and get a thorough understanding of the job you are applying for; see what genuinely attracts you to join them. Is it their business category, mission, or products and services? What interests you the most?
?? Align your goal with the company's goal as you answer this question to show synergy and work well together.
Q2. Why should we hire you?
This is a very important question and gives you an opportunity to shine on your strengths and the unique value you bring to them.?
?? They are looking here: what is so unique about you that other candidates don't have? Why are you a strong candidate compared to others? What is it that you contribute to the team or solve a specific problem for them?
?? It can not be just grades and degrees; build some skills, get internship experience, get some brands on your resume to stand out, or get professional certification before changing jobs or starting your career.
You should focus on finding your USP?(Unique Value Proposition) to get a competitive advantage in your industry.?
??If you are not sure what to answer, you might like to ask them in the screening interview: "What sorts of challenges are your team or company facing in considering this hire?" Any specifics you would share on the?role requirements??
?? You should know what they are expecting from you and their challenges before answering this question. Then, present yourself as a solution to their problem.

Q3. Why did you leave your last job?
Companies know that the most important reason for people to leave?their current job is that they either dislike what they are doing, or?they dislike the people they are working with, or they hate their boss. For some, it can be related to their salary, but that's a rare case.?
?? But obviously, you don't want to quote any of this because this can be a serious cultural misfit for their team as well, and nobody would hire a misfit. It's like you didn't like the people there? You might not like it here. So again, it's a BIG NO.
??Your answer could be:
I am looking for more growth opportunities than I have in my current positions, and with the role here, I feel there's ample opportunity to grow and be fulfilled with my work.
(You can also refer to the job description and say, "as these are the key roles I am looking to contribute to and I believe this will help you?grow as well.")
.............................
?? You also want to ask in the initial interview with HR about their working hours, company culture, and hierarchy and how your role fits in. So you shouldn't be surprised after a few weeks in the new role.?
?? The more you learn about the company and your role, the better your chances of being selected as one of the top candidates to be hired every time you interview. So make yourself a top pick.?
