MAKE YOUR LIFE COUNT

What will you be remembered for?

What legacy do you want to leave behind?

Are you making your life count or you just counting your life?

What difference are you making to make the world a better place?

If you are long gone, will society be grateful that you came?

Will your impact be felt or not for being around?

When the etchers chip your epitaph into the gravestone of your life, what will be written?

Sadly, what most people count in life doesn't count. And what supposed to be counted or accounted for is never accounted for. Are you making your life count or you just enjoy being counted that you are alive?

What do you understand by a life of significance, meaning and relevance?

Do you know the meaning of life is simply to live a life of meaning, an immaculate life worthy or emulation?

Many of us are subjected to the myth that status, wealth or riches—having money and the things money can buy, fame and popularity, power and affluence are indicators of success. What do you understand to be successful in life? What is at the topmost top of your list?

The truth is that, in the grand scheme of the universe, these things our heart so desire are fleeting and transitory. Ultimately, the perfect state of man is still defined by frailties and imperfect perfections!

So, how then can we live a life that is truly defined by true success? How can we make our 'one life' count?

Todd Stocker gave three principles to live by;

1. Make it about others and not just yourself. “The value of a man’s life is in counting of his positive influence on others.

2. Make it about giving and not getting. Give without anticipating getting in return.

3. Make it about serving rather than self-seeking. Hebrews 6:10.

And I add “The true test of a life of impact is not the affluence over others but the positive influence in the lives of others”.

So, I’m sure you want to make meaning out of your life and make your life meaningful. You want to MAKE YOUR LIFE COUNT.
