Make your KPIs green again

KPIs means Key Performance Indicators. You may think that this is applicable only to the industry but not really.

I know a lot of you don′t like KPIs because these are always RED and your manager is not happy because of that. Or, you don′t like it because you have to compile them every month and this is a torture.

On this episode of the Medical Device made Easy Podcast, I wanted to demystify KPIs by making things look more concrete and I also touch the fact that sometime you can make them funny. I know the example I′ll tell on the episode is maybe funny for me but not for the people that have to read the KPIs.

But what is important is that KPIs are not here to blame anyone. They are here to confirm that your system is efficient. So if this is RED it can mean a lot of thing, but it can also mean that the limit you define is too high.

So let′s discuss on this episode on how to create your KPIs (Who is creating them also, this one is tricky). And how to maintain them.
