Make your come back stronger than the setback!

Make your come back stronger than the setback!

I had the privilege to invest and complete a seven day "Come Back Challenge", a virtual learning program hosted by Tony Robbins and his incredible team of teachers. It was one of a kind learning experience. At times you almost felt like you were physically present in the audience. Tony Robbins made participants actively engage in activities, practising his usual energy drivers from the famous "Unleash the Power Within" series which made the event quite memorable. Now I have registered for Tony Robbins first virtual Unleash the Power Within Program. There were two parts to the "Come Back Challenge", over 200000 plus participants joined the free Facebook live program. More than 10000 participants joined the event via Zoom. Zoom access came with an investment, definitely worth and great value for money and total of 14 hours of learning. Just imagine an interactive learning experience of having over 10000 participants on zoom! Quite an extraordinary experience.

The event started daily with a 10-minute breathing and a simple fitness exercise which was hosted by Tony Robbins Team master energizer, Brian Bradley. This 10 minute was one of my favourite part of the session. It was interesting to see how participants actively engaged in the same exercise via Zoom.

"Come Back Challenge" with Tony Robbins was all about the mindset that we need to bring now and beyond to live a life of greatness. More than two hours of learning over seven days and personal Q&A session with Tony Robbins, these sessions were focused on areas that we need to invest and spent the time to develop to reach our personal and professional potential.

Here is my takeaway from each day. Tony Robbins gave a breakthrough summary of all seven days and shared these fantastic one-page overviews of each day with all the participants. You will see the official summary page for each day as you read below.

Day 1: Emotional Fitness: We all tend to carry a good deal of baggage from our past. At times we take it to wherever we go. We cannot move forward unless we let go of that baggage. We are the one who has control of our life, and we should not let someone control it. As long as we live with the past stories, we will not be able to explore what the future hold for us. We have the choice to use the challenges in our life as breakthrough moments, take massive actions to reach our potential. Our emotional fitness lies in taking action, not thinking about what happened in the past and dragging the same story to wherever we go. The past does not equal the future, unless you live there.

Day 2: Happiness is a Habit: It is known that most of the time, our survival brain is looking for what's wrong. To change this, we need to find and link our thinking towards the things we are grateful. Our family and loved ones, community, colleagues, and be thankful for everything we have. Imagine if you take just 10 minutes during the day to sit somewhere, relax and think about your life; reflect on what you are grateful, this activity will generate a significant level of positive energy, that will influence your mind to feel happy and drive positive behaviours. If we cannot find 10 minutes to ourselves, then we have a serious problem. Happiness starts with what we do and what action we take to keep us going!

Day 3: Quality of Life = Quality of Relationships: In our life and relationships, at times, we derail and have to take different turns, and that's all right. What matters is how we reshape our life and build relationships along the way. We all make mistakes. It hurts others and at times tarnish our reputations within the family, colleagues, company that we work and community. To improve the relationships we have with others, be the first one to apologize. Listen more and be an active listener who listens to understand, not just to reply. Be less judgmental. Next time when you know you have made a genuine mistake, turn to your spouse, partner or your family member and say "I am sorry, I love you, please forgive me, Thank you".

Day 4: Create Your Business/Career: If you want to be successful in your career or any business you aim to set up; first thing, don't wait for the perfect condition and circumstances to arrive. Start somewhere and keep going. Second, it will go as far as your determination and commitment. Your career will not reach any miles unless you are willing to walk through that mile. It's the same thing; no one can do pushups for you; you have to do it physically. To serve others, first, love what you do and love who you serve.

Day 5: Create the Wealth You Deserve: Ask three questions before you start any investment: What are your objectives/goals or dream investment? How much cash you have that can be put as an investment? What is your risk tolerance? Discipline and the choices that we make will determine how quickly we can create personal wealth. At times we may fail. Stand up and take your chances. Getting what you deserve lies in taking as many opportunities as you can.

Day 6: Health, Vitality and Energy: It's all about taking care of yourself. You can't serve others if you aren't in good state of health, mental and physical. Make your health, energy and happiness a priority by investing your time in daily exercises and healthy eating habits. Skip habits that do not give you strength. You are the CEO of your health. Find out what works for you and follow it daily!

Day 7: Integration day:  Final day was all about teaching based on a combination of six days of learning and application. To make our come back stronger than the set back; we need to live a new frame of mindset. 80% of that mindset is all about the actions that we take, and 20% is knowing what we want.

We all agree that most of the time we know what we want; but many of us are a bit reluctant to put the time, effort and discipline that is required to get the result.
