Make your coach's life easier, use our Rotation Planner. VolleyStation explains volleyball from the inside - Part 5.
Do you know how the best coaches are dealing with the team tactics? They are using visual content while preparing materials for their players. In VolleyStation PRO they can easily use Rotation Planner.
As we already know, what rotations are in volleyball (if not click here) and why they are so important, we can look for a way to set the best starting rotation against a particular opponent. If the opposite team always starts the match in a particular rotation, it is easy to predict it with significant certainty and use it to our advantage. The best way to look through all the options and set our rotation right is to use the VolleyStation rotation planner.
The Rotation Planner is a very interesting feature that allows you to analyze your opponent’s line-up and efficiently set your rotation.
We can combine using a rotation planner with heatmaps, and thanks to that, we can see, for example, where our best serving player serves and sets the rotation so the weakest receiving opponent player would be in this zone.?
We can also use it to check what block the opponent’s best hitter would have against him and if it would cover his best direction. Also, we can see who you can use to defend his attack in a particular rotation, and thanks to that, you can prepare your tactics better.
On the left side, you can select the serving team and change your rotation according to the conditions you need while preparing for the game against a particular team.
Let's see how it works in practice. The tool is pretty intuitive - below you can check on the videos how it looks in VolleyStation PRO.
