When you scroll through social media, how many posts do you actively engage in (react, comment or share)? Not a lot, right? We could spend a few hours scrolling along our feed and there’ll be one or two pictures or notes that grab your attention.
Let’s focus on these types of content: what made them enticing for you to engage with?
If you think about your answer, you might want to have the same result for your landing page. You want your target audience to say, “This landing page matters to me. Maybe I should take a look at it further.”
So how do you do that?
There’s one thing that makes people take a closer look at social media posts, and you can apply that concept in building your landing page. It’s storytelling, and in one post, you’re able to see a clear beginning, middle, and ending, supported sometimes with an image or video. Or maybe the landing page is the video itself, which provides you more information to take action.
You want that kind of result for your landing page by using the different elements to build up a story. A headline can let your audience identify the problem, for example. And all that should be tied up by a CTA button at the end. That button will help your audience find out what to do with the information they gathered.
All of this should be enticing and straightforward, enough to really grab the attention to your audience and turn them into subscribers, followers or customers.
