Make Time For Your Brilliant Chaos
Want to have a happier life? Focus on your genius for one hour a day.
The day can get quickly trapped with your "to-do" list and your "must-do" list. So I am encouraging you to put one hour on your calendar to focus on your genius. Not sure what that is? Think about it. What are you good at?
There are assessments to find your strengths. If you haven't done that, do one, it's a game-changer. I used this book. (I get no money for mentioning this book, btw.)
Find what you are good at and focus just on that. Forget those weaknesses, delegate them away, they are someone else's strengths anyway. Spend an hour a day on YOUR genius.
Are you simply full of ideas? Take an hour and write those down. Include time to thoroughly vet each one. A lot of them will be crazy, but that one... is genius!
Think about what is it that you do that ONLY you can do. That is a pretty good gift, I'm sure. More of that, please! Are you THE ONE to close a deal, solve the problem, write the headline, paint the picture, rally the team? Details? Whatever... you can hire someone for that.
It can be a personal or professional genius but you are you because of it. Don't hide your brilliance, the world needs you.
Shine on!
