Make Room for the Men in Projects Leadership!

In the light of Philip Davies MP’s recent appointment to the Women and Equalities Committee, it’s clearly high time we focussed a bit of attention on the men in their quest for fair representation in projects leadership. As Philip says so eloquently, “feminist zealots” are “stirring up” problems. So let’s get some balance and offer men the same opportunities that women get, with a launch conference for a special interest group for “Men in Projects Leadership”.

Opening Address from inspirational male role model: “How I overcame the odds in my journey to the top”

Key note: Leading the NHS: a look at what it takes to smash the glass ceiling in female dominated sectors

Panel Discussion

Finding a mentor - and it doesn’t have to be a man!

The truth about working dads: marital problems, sleep deprivation, depression, judged by your friends… Telling it like it is.

Just get on with it! - stop whinging and start working your way to the top

The dark side of comradeship - how men can sometimes be men’s worst enemies

Networking lunch

Personal story: how I cope with the brutal pace of life as one of the UK’s top project leaders.

Streams

  • Dressing for success - from building site to boardroom: style savvy tips for the aspirational project manager

  • Improve your confidence - tips that work to wing it in the workplace

Men-friendly policies that really work

Men-friendly cultures at work - and how to create them

Final Q&As

Close - and do please join us for ‘after conference drinks’ in the Sports Bar.

I look forward to a rush of registrations when we open in the New Year.
