Make professional development a new year’s resolution you can keep

Making a new year’s resolution is easy. Keeping it is the hard part. By the end of January, most of us have abandoned our resolutions or forgotten them entirely. The reasons why vary. Sometimes we set our goals too high, or we try to do too many things at once. After a busy holiday season, trying to catch up with work and life can feel overwhelming.

A better idea is to set smaller goals throughout the year, and to pace yourself. If one of your goals for 2017 is to advance your career, short workshops that deliver a high level of knowledge, skills, and networking can be just the ticket.

Here are a few of the workshops coming up in 2017 at Rotman Executive Programs.

This one-day workshop provides you with an overview of the social media landscape to help you build your professional brand to meet your career and organizational goals.
