Make the Pareto Chart work for you

Make the Pareto Chart work for you

You are all familiar with the 80%-20% concept, right? if not, well then - you should be!

Have you ever felt you are running around in circles, chasing your own tail? you work full steam and still feels like you're making no progress? If you can relate to that - this piece is worth your while.

Pareto means that roughly 20% are responsible for 80% of your issues. If you look at it this way, and any accordingly, you would solve the majority of your problems. putting on the multidisciplinary cap here - 20% of factors are 80% of your client's complaints, 20% factors are 80% of deviations in processes.

Take a look at the image above, it is clear to see that A,B and C put together, are about 80% of the "issues". the rest - leave it for later.

This way, you focus on the "noise generators", and once they are resolved, you look at the chart again. ratios will change, and once again you focus on the factors that generate the most traction.
