Make a no-code AI chatbot for free

If you're interested in creating your own AI chatbot without coding, one that can serve as your virtual assistant on your website or social media for lead generation, customer service, and support, then this article is perfect for you.

Building AI bot without code

I utilize Zapier's Chatbots for creating bots because they're free, powered by OpenAI (currently the most powerful language model IMO), and require no coding. You can easily share a chatbot via a direct link on social media, embed the chatbot on your website, or even use your own source for the chatbot answers, but these are already a paid feature.

For my consulting business, as I am providing services of Business process automation, I've decided to create a Pricebot that will calculate the cost of services automatically based on the client's specific needs without my involvement, and if the client is happy, only then to set up a call for discussing the details.

Zapier Chatbot setup and instructions

To configure our chatbot, we need to choose the OpenAI model and set the Creativity level (also known as Temperature) from 0 (for highly predictive responses) to 1 (for more random answers).

Additionally, we must provide detailed and accurate prompt instructions. These instructions are crucial for enabling the bot to navigate user questions professionally and accurately.

Furthermore, you can supplement the bot's knowledge by adding your own source. This feature is especially beneficial for building a user support bot based on your company's FAQs.

Chatbot in action

Now, let's observe the chatbot in action. In the screenshot below, you can see the chatbot interface where the user has input their requirements. The chatbot then calculates the number of zaps needed for automating the business process and provides a price estimate to the user. Then, bot asks for email address, questioning if the user would like to proceed next with scheduling a call to discuss this further.

Once the email address is received, the bot asks user to click the "Schedule call" button. Clicking this button triggers a workflow that sends an email to the user, proposing to select the most convenient time slot for the call.

Upon clicking on the "Select time" link, the user will be directed to my Calendly page, where they can select the most convenient time for the call. Both of us will receive a meeting invitation. If rescheduling is necessary, the user can easily do so by updating the received invite themselves.

So, fully automatically and without my involvement, the meeting invite is arranged. I can review the chatbot conversation history to prepare myself for the call. A potential client already understands the scope and possible price of the service, so it's a fully automated cycle of warm leads generation.
