Make the most of summer by expecting the unexpected
Summer is officially here on June 21st. I hope you’re enjoying the longer days, spending more time outside, and making vacation plans.
This year, however, it’s apparent that the economy and markets aren’t taking any time off. Whether it’s central bank policy around inflation and interest rates, technology advances that are affecting the markets, or natural and man-made disasters like wildfires and war, complicated events keep sweeping our world.
That’s why two Financial Times articles struck me this week. The first talks about how to savour the fleeting months of summer by taking time to engulf yourself in the natural world. Great advice and easy to achieve. The second outlines how to be prepared for how sweeping economic changes can affect your financial strategy.
And while I can’t help you with the advice to spend more time in nature, I can help you make sense of economic and market changes and how they may affect the strategy we’ve built together. Let’s talk; how are you feeling about current conditions? Have your goals changed? Let me know. In the meantime, enjoy the articles, curated from the news this week to increase your financial acumen.?
Thank you,
