Make the Most of Given Time
Before I even arrived in New York I had so many ideas for Create Greg at the back of my head what I would love to see and do while I'm here. Camera packed, all batteries charged, places to visit marked on the map by the best guide in the world aka my girlfriend and ready to rock and roll.
And then reality struck... the magnitude of New York, distances and so many epic places to visit made it impossible to do everything. Sounds like life -
you can't have everything but you can have the most important things.
Taking into consideration the time we have and how would it look like to exercise creativity while enjoying the time away and making the most of it brought again the same answer -
edit as you go.
Look around you and think what's the best way to tell a story in the most simple and fast way, use your fancy camera or iPhone to capture it and then edit on the phone as you go in the subway, during coffee time, laying in Central Park... anywhere, anytime.
Then would be ideal to distribute it in the way everyone could see it and get all that likes to boost the creative ego while enjoying every single minute of the time away...
Too good to be true at least for me so knowing I can always post it once I'm back while being present to the moment right now, creating and editing bits and pieces for Instagram Stories which is my thing I do enjoy a lot. Make a few people who follow my stories laugh or wow them with the beauty of this place was doable and enjoyable.
I can't have everything but I can think on my feet, edit as I go and enjoy my creative vision coming alive through practice day by day.
