Make no mistake, stepping up takes courage.

Make no mistake, stepping up takes courage.

I speak too many women every week, who have amazing businesses that help their clients get results, but they are best kept secrets.

No one knows about them outside of their networks. We can't help more people with our gifts. if no one knows about us! Period.

But putting yourself out there for many women is tough.

Like really tough. We worry about judgement so much that it cripples our growth. There are many a youtube video with people in nursing homes, sharing that their biggest regret was worrying about what other people thought of them when in the end, it just didn't matter.

Yet many of us do it.

Do you think it was easy for me to be in the spotlight?

Me, an introvert, shy, quiet, indian girl who was told she would amount to nothing?

No way! It scared the bajeebies (yes that is a word) out of me!!!

Y would anyone on earth want to know my story, or hear me speak. It was 'just' me after all.

Sounding familiar?

As I embarked on my own personal development journey, I realised that it was not about me at all, or my ego (big truth bomb here), it was actually about the many women I could help if only they knew about my mentoring and magazine.

What if just for a hot minute, I could get out of my own way and raise my profile so I could help them?

Well, many of you know my story and know that's what I did.

Zero ego in the recipe... just trusting that if I invested (key word here ladies) in growing my profile through credible sources, like video, magazines, speaking and the like, more people would see me and trust me and then I could help them do exactly the same.

YMag is far from 'just another glossy mag' on newsagent shelves. It is a platform to build credibility and profiling for the brave few women who put their hand up and say 'I want to help more people and therefore they need to know I exist'.

Mark Bouris has been quoted in saying from stage on numerous occasions, that the best investment he made in the early days was in himself and growing his profile.

Our entire publications has been built on the premise of highlighting women in business and we have created our model in support of small business owners.

Our rates are incredibly affordable for the 3 months national exposure we give you, plus the digital marketing.

You might be wondering Y I'm sharing all of this?

Well, recently I've had some calls with women who were blown away about the products we offer and the price points we offer them at and I realised I haven't tooted YMag's horn publicly like this before, so after 2 years in print, I realised now was the time.

We have forward bookings into our four 2020 issues. If you know that it's time to help more people and your business is ready to invest in growing your brand authority, then we need to chat.

That's my attempt at a call to action. You know where to find me. I'll leave it to you to reach out.

But know one thing, (then I promise I'm done), if you truly are living your Y and know that your product or service can help your ideal client, you owe it to them and yourself to make yourself seen. Otherwise trying to compete in an incredibly noisy digital world, could see you struggle for years and worst case scenario, go back to full time employment! Eeeek... (insert vigorous shudder here)

The next step is yours my friend...

(Said with buckets of love, but also a slight kick in the posterior, as you and only you know, if you have been playing small and our now ready to help more people and have the business you deserve).

Ok, I'm done now... promise.

I believe too many women are afraid to think big because they’ve been conditioned to think they’re not good enough. Congratulations to Shar Moore for her major contribution to helping women entrepreneurs to stand up & shine ????

100%. I've just been posting on this myself actually. You really do have to take the focus off of 'you' and remember that what you're doing has a purpose beyond you, and this is what will make you step up. Thanks for sharing, I totally resonate with your words. ?
