Make me the Next President of Nigeria 2019 with your contributions

WHY I WANT TO BE PRESIDENT, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, 2019.

I, Engr. Effiong Ndarake Effiong have keyed into the call for the younger generation of leaders with fresh ideas to stir the ship of this country. The analogue way our country is being governed at the moment has largely contributed to the downward trend of events culminating in the increase in crime rate, insecurity, loss of jobs, poor infrastructural development even the unending crisis between the executive and the legislative arms of government.

This decision of mine is not for personal gain but base on the fact that we need best brains to transform our country and restore hope to the hopeless. I have better ideas, proven and tested that can bring back our lost glory. In this contest, I have no perceive (virtual or real) enemies to fight and am not out for vengeance on any person or group of persons. My mission is to salvage this country, to save it from eminent collapse, unite the various entities that make up the whole (Nigeria).

My aspiration is to ensure that the masses, the poor and the disadvantaged are an integral part of our society by providing them the basic amenities. Reduce the high maternal and infant mortality rate, Provide quality and affordable health care to all Nigerians and free medical services to all pregnant mothers, children under the age of five and the Aged of seventy years and above. Providing quality and affordable educational institutions thereby making attending private schools a matter of choice not a necessity.

My vision is to operate a regime of fairness, equity and justice, ensure equal obligations as citizens of Nigeria, and create opportunities for those who are disadvantaged today to have equal access to government resources. Transform Nigeria into a world economic superpower, a highly confident, motivated and productive citizen, a fully industrialized state, secured for all her occupants.

Here are some of the fundamental reasons why I want to be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

1.     To fully industrialize the nation by providing round the clock uninterruptible power supplies for domestic and industrial usage, thereby reducing running cost of industries, creating economic opportunities to Small, Medium and large scale entrepreneurs attracting both domestic and foreign investors into the economy.

2.     To be more proactive in tackling security challenges, concentrate on building and managing security systems to  provide maximum security for people, processes and products across the various units of Nigeria.

3.     To run a visionary and transparent community-based government driven only by the genuine aspirations of the restoration of Nigeria.

4.     To create an effective, development-oriented administration that will harness and ensure prudent management of our resources to deliver value and improve the quality of life of our Citizenry.

5.     To deliver a true wealth-creating nation that will be a leader in innovation, economic diversification, technology, good governance and infrastructural development.

6.     To restore the glory of the Nation as the giant of African and transition to a knowledge based economy and technology hub. Migrating government business to e-Governance platform.

7.     To secure the future of our children by redirecting our energies to productive engagements rather than primordial sentiments that divide us as a people.

This incessant killings of innocent Nigerians by armed bandits or whatever name they may be called must stop forthwith. Nigerians deserve good governance and we owe them a duty to do so. Kidnapping has become the most lucrative business for our youths. No section of this country is free from violent crime. Boko Haram, herdsmen / farmers clash, cattle rustling and armed bandit killing of innocent villagers is rampaging the north, while armed robbery, ritual killing and militancy are the main stay of the south. Mechanism has to be put in place to make looting extremely difficult if not completely impossible. This corrupt practices has to stop.

There is a systemic failure occasioned by leadership failure in the country, as such all hands must be on deck to collectively replace the failed leadership with a purposeful leadership who will automatically address the systemic failure. This is not the Nigeria our founding fathers envisage when they struggled for independent. My good people of Nigeria, no matter how long one has gone in a wrong direction, he / she can never get to the desired destination. The only way forward is forward and that is to change from the path of destruction to follow the path of restoration. The fact remains that Nigeria is following a path way of destruction at the moment and if left unchecked, it wouldn’t be too long before the country becomes a complete failed state. The high level of corruption in the system, wanton killing of innocent Nigerians on a daily bases without any punishment meted to the perpetrators of this crime is a pointer to the fact that we are heading to doom.

Our military and other security agencies are renowned professionals in their chosen field. They have recorded great successes in international and regional peace keeping missions. They have led the ECOMOG troops to a successive peacekeeping operations in Liberia, Sierra Lone, Mali and other part of Africa and beyond. Little will one believe that our domestic insurgency will escalate to the level it is today. These agencies have failed to professionally address the issue of Boko Haram, kidnapping, and other violent crimes not because it is beyond their power, but simple because they have abandoned professionalism and embrace existential and irrational religious and ethnic extremism. Religious, ethnic and political sentiments have infiltrated all classes of Nigerians from the beggars in the street, the poor in their jungles to the top executives in their offices up to our elected and political appointed officials, even our security agencies are not immune from it.

The best option for Nigeria if we sincerely desire to move forward is to vote a leader who is not part of either present or past leadership failure. We must bring a neutral man from a different platform. Our democracy shouldn't just be about those in government but about how we impact the lives of every Nigerian. Public official are to serve the people and not to demand service from the people as the case currently is.

Leadership is about the ability to give out a vision and inspire the people to pursue that vision. Our goal as a nation must be to lead Africa to full realization of her potentials and build a continent of choice destinations. I'm convinced, Nigeria is great not only because of the natural resources, but more importantly because of the potentials of her people.

I have resolved to offer my country genuine leadership that will be accountable with all the principles of good governance, a government of inclusion that will not leave any race or gender behind. No matter your age, sex, tribe, party affiliation, religion, socioeconomic or any other status, as long as you reside in Nigeria, we will make Nigeria habitable for you.

We shall offer selfless service and work to create opportunities for all. As we proceed we will leave no one behind. What our great party stands for is IMPROVEMENT, not just change but POSITIVE CHANGE. We will create wealth, create new jobs and challenge ourselves to make Nigeria a better place. We will take this country to the next level. If only the masses can muster the courage to resist monetary inducement for once and vote in a new set of youthful visionary leaders across board, Nigeria will become the pride of the black race and the nation of our dream!

I represent the hope for the average children, class of ordinary citizens, and the voice that brings to mind the dreams of the founding fathers of our nation. I speak for millions who have lost hope in Nigeria. I'm humbled to be in the center of it all. They said the youths are the Leaders of tomorrow, which was yesterday’s statement. That tomorrow is today and I say the youths are the leaders of today. Yes the future is now. It's time for a complete blend of fresh ideas with the wisdom of our elders to take Nigeria to a greater height. Nigeria of tomorrow cannot be built on yesterday's ideas. It must be built around a new consensus that can withstand the existential and irrational challenges of religious and ethnic extremism.

Nigeria at this time needs a detribalized Nigerian, who sees Nigerians as one irrespective of their ethnicity, religion or party affiliation, we need a true nationalist who will tackle every problem from a national perspective not from a regional angle. We need someone who is a bridge between the various entities that makes up Nigeria and not just a bridge builder. We need a man who will offer himself as a bridge to national unity between the North and South, between all religions and across the various ethnic and interest group in Nigeria. There is only one man who himself is a bridge in this country at this time. He is Apostle Engr. Effiong Ndarake Effiong of the Ideas Rule the World Movement.

My fellow Nigerian, please permit me to present to you. The messiah of our time, the BRIDGE, not just a bridge builder.
