A New Economy

Solution to the problem I created Ubrica to solve is now as clear as the light of day. The problem is the tragedy of the common arising from prevailing economic governance of global health administration. I first documented this problem in Emergencing: Discovering the Tacit Dimension of Global Health, originally published in 2008. I described this problem again in the article Let Millions of Flowers Bloom, published in Wyathi Newsletter on LinkedIn.

Poor Job Representing the Poor

The problem is failure of coordination of economic governance of the stakeholders of global health. ?We are doing a very poor job representing stakeholders of global health, particularly representing the poor people living in developing countries as fundamental stakeholders. ?The poor and disenfranchised citizens of developing countries are fringe stakeholders of global health only expected to receive aid given by outsiders. International Development Organizations are considered salient stakeholders of global health contributing funds to fight diseases affecting the so-called poor people living in developing countries.

Blockchain is here to help coordinate the fringe and salient stakeholders on the same platform. Blockchain enables fringe stakeholders to gain a position of saliency.?The fringe stakeholders can now self-represent in the global economy, bringing them to the position of saliency, to generate sustainable one-health communities.

The solution lies in coordination of global economic governance of stakeholders to produce sustainable global health. It always has been, as I stated it in Emergencing Thesis in 2008. ?We have missed it all along. I am asking you to embark on a journey in coordination of global health stakeholders economic governance on the blockchain. Let’s get connected to improve health outcomes of everyone here on earth. I believe that blockchain is transparent, global, programmable, incorruptible substrate for creating global level coordination of all stakeholders of global health, such that fringe stakeholders gain a position of saliency to create sustainable one health communities. ?Blockchain is the big deal because it is the utmost technology for coordination of economic governance of fringe and salient stakeholders of global health.

Traditionally blockchain technologies were associated with cypher punk movement, which advocates for use of cryptography in privacy technologies.

Decentralized nature of open blockchain has given us capability of coordinating economic governance of public good funding. Astonishingly, public good funding is profitable on blockchain.?Now you make profit doing good, investing in public good. Amazing!

Recently, we have witnessed an uptake by green movement which has deployed the blockchain to coordinate economic governance for stakeholders of large vexing problems facing humanity. Impact DAOs stack upon one another such that Each impact Dao benefits from all other impact DAOs on top, adjacent and below them. this is how impact DAOs, the basic unit of regenerative crypto, creates positive impact on the community. In the same vein, impact DAOs will create sustainable one health communities producing global health by ushering fringe stakeholders of global health to a position of saliency in economic governance.

Impact DAOs vary in mechanisms while at the same time they stack together to produce a pluralistic infrastructure for funding public goods.

The title of my upcoming book is Creating Sustainable One Health Communities with Crypto. Crypto is the ultimate tool for coordination of diverse stakeholders of health and human development. As Kevin Owoki pointed out, all coordination is a choice. It is impossible to create the best system in the world without individual choice to use them.
