Make Full Proof Of Your Ministry

"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." 2 Timothy 4:2, 5

People gravitate to those with like beliefs and customs. While seeking comfort to avoid friction and arguments they often lose sight of the truth. Sound doctrine can only be found in the Holy Bible not the imagination of mankind.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." - 2 Timothy 4:3-4

I hear people say, "you serve God your way I'll serve him mine". There is only one way that's God's way as written in the Bible. Only God holds the keys to the kingdom, man can't get you into heaven. Don't try to force feed God's word down the throats of others. You may end up chasing them away. Just refer unbelievers to the Bible so they can read for themselves what thus said the Lord. The Bible is of no private interpretation. God had it written by the prophets who witnessed the miracles of Jesus.

The Lord said: "Now go,?write?it?before them?in?a?table,?and note?it?in?a?book, that?it?may be for the time to come for ever?and ever:" - Isaiah 30:8

Let the truth be known as God had documented in the Bible so not to be deceived. The debate goes on but is diminished when people can't read what they believed. When in pursuit of the truth just read the bible for yourself. Don't rely on the opinions of anyone else. Satan's greatest weapon against mankind is withholding the truth of God's written word. Learn the truth and it shall set you free to live a life of peace, love and harmony.
