Make friends before to be customers

l believe heart to heart to treat my customers, they will become good friends to me.  

Why l said these words, kindly read following a story between my friend Todd and me. 

1: 【Todd has trouble】

Here remember it was a day in 2013 Autumn that l received his enquiry on our 20g chlorine rotary tablet press machine. Happy talking between us, and was confident to own his order. Suddenly he disappeared for several days. then told me he was afraid that had to cancel the purchase plan because money lost with another Chinese supplier. This was a very bad news. l felt very sad for him and asked him why. 

"l confirmed a 20'FCL quantity of Copper sulfide in a shandong company. but after almost one month no shipping from them. only reply that they will prepare the goods ASAP. l feel very worry. can you help me talk with them?” l felt his helpless in his email. 

“Surely. Dear Todd, l would like to help you.Let me start to talk with them now to check what happen ”. 

2: 【Trouble was serious than my thought.】

l called this shandong supplier more than 50 times in 3 days. No phone picked. l asked my friend in shandong to call this supplier to try to arrange a visit to them. Finally a lady picked the phone and gave a short reply “ I have no idea on goods plan, my boss is out of China now, not accept the visit”. Surely l didn't believe her words at all. This aggravated my doubts that this supplier was a unreal company and was a cheater. 

3: 【Try to solve the trouble for Todd】

l started to survey this company in government system, bad fact was that there was no any information about them. this supplier used a very similar name with a real shandong group who is real supplier . Yes, this Supplier was a cheater. Todd was very sad and nothing could do.

I kept calling to cheater’s office with several different phone numbers. One day lunch time l suddenly received a mobile phone calling from shijiazhuang city to ask me who l was, and cut phone in short seconds. Sixth sense of me told me this phone was from this cheater. someone called me but as normal this people should know me. 

l forwarded this phone number to my friend Mr. Hu who had friends in police. He tried to find out this cheater to get the money back to Todd. But a pity is that in Chinese police policy,cheating case would be valid when cheated people Mr. Todd came to China to report this money lost in shandong where cheating case happened. Anyone else to report to police does not work. There was no possibility that Todd himself came to China to do this thing. Todd had to accept the fact he lost this money. 

4: 【You think story was end? NO!NO!】

Big worse thing happened again shortly on Todd. He urgently needed the copper sulfide, and placed order again in another shandong supplier. l remember this supplier people name was Danny Pang. this guy shipped a 20'FCL salt to Todd. Yes, Salt, not copper sulfide Todd needed.

USA customs department checked the container but found the goods not be matched with description as documents showed. …… Todd had to receive heavy punishment fees and destruction fees from customs department. 

At that time it was already Merry Christmas holiday. l called Todd to plan to say wishes to him. but no pick my phone. after he back to work, he told me the second bad experience with cheater Danny Pang. l felt very sad for him and told him should ask me to check the company of Danny pang before to order , or let me recommend a reliable supplier to him. How God treated him. ……

5: 【Seems I lost Todd At that time.】

As thing was going. he forwarded thanks to me and canceled the machine purchase plan. He said: “I planed to order two machines from you. but no money to buy now . my promise is given to you that will come to you when l recovery from money lost. ”my boss and colleagues all thought I lost Todd this customer.

6: 【2015 Summer】

In my heart, whatever result was, if I tried by best to offer help, there was no regret in my heart.

Good news came until that 2015 summer .Todd made promises come true. Ordered two sets of 20g rotary machines ,as well as mixers +feeders from me. That summer he visited our company with his son, we talked together, enjoyed food. He is the biggest customer of me in USA now. 

 “Bella , you are a fabulous young lady. Appreciate your efforts from my heart.” Todd said to me. Since that time I learnt a new word "Fabulous". :)
