Through my cancer journey over the last eight months, my mortality has been thrust right before me and it has given me renewed Purpose and a desire to Make Every Moment Count.
We are not promised tomorrow, so let's make the most of today!
Life isn’t a matter of milestones, but a matter of moments.
It’s a Journey.
I love this line by author A.A. Milne,from the Winnie the Pooh series,? “What day is it?” asked Pooh. “It’s today,” squeaked Piglet. “My favorite day,” said Pooh.
Is today your favorite day?
It should be, because today is a day filled with amazing opportunities all around you, you just have to step forward and take action.
God has created an abundant life and you can be part of it… you don’t have to wait… you can “Live the LIfe You Choose!”
Life is precious and time is the key element.?
I love that song “Fly like an Eagle,” by Steve Miller Band.? It says…
“Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin', Into the future.”?
And, that is so true. It keeps moving whether we are moving with it or not. So why not fly and take action? The chorus of the song says,? “I wanna fly like an eagle, To the sea, Fly like an eagle, let my spirit carry me, I want to fly like an eagle, 'Til I'm free, Oh Lord, through the revolution.”?
It is a revolution of action.
There is so much you can do in your life and the lives of others.
You just have to do it!
Is it really that simple??
Yes!
You were created with God-given abilities and talents. What are you going to do with them? How are you going to live a Purpose Driven life of Significance?

2 年I said much the same on another post earlier this evening. I said “I truly believe that the secret to living your best life is mindfulness. Living each moment, FULLY. Listen well. Be intentional and aware of the things you do. Learn from the past… it’s where all our wisdom comes from… but don’t live there. Regret and shame won’t help you even one tiny bit unless you learn the lessons and move forward. How many times do we eat an entire meal without stopping to really taste the flavors of every bite? How many times have we walked with our heads down, texting, when there might have been a painted bunting or a pileated woodpecker or butterflies moving along right beside us, and we miss them all. Mindfulness isn’t easy. That’s why they call it a “practice”, but it’s well worth the effort. I missed out on years of life’s experiences because of fears about the future that I couldn’t control, anyway.”
