Make It Efficient & On Purpose
Logistics plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of our societies. Volvo Trucks as a client challenged L2concept and Factory Unit to adapt our practices to the new challenges driven by climate change consciousness. By embracing the legacy, keep usage at the core, reusing resources, and creating proof of concepts (POCs), we can innovate and run ideas further with agility.
One project that embodies this approach is the RENAULT Oxygen project, which we are proud to have collaborated on with Volvo Trucks team. This project has helped us understand the importance of retrofit approach and adopt the mindset of an integrator to contribute to bring positive impact for a more sustainable future.
L2concept is a mobility design strategy agency that specializes in growing project from scratch to running in a limited very limited period of time and in a given budget. The company's expertise in design and engineering has been instrumental in supporting the Renault Truck core team for the Oxygen project development, which aims to revolutionize the Urban Logistic experience approach.
Factory Unit, on the other hand, is a team of builders who specialize in integrating various solutions in an agile mode to mature the overall design according to given technical parts, style vision, materials choice, costs targets, and deadlines[2]. The team's expertise in concept cars projects has been crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of the Oxygen project for both interior and exterior parts.
The close connection between L2concept and Factory Unit teams around a common understanding of the digital mockup has resulted in the creation of a one off fully functional lab truck with unique integrated hardware solutions for the Oxygen project[1].
