Make it easy.

Make it easy.

So we did this presentation in Italy, demonstrating how in AM the message often contains an internal contradiction: On the one hand, with AM you can do anything, on the other hand, you can't do anything in AM unless you talk to your service provider. We used FIT AG as an example of a company that seems to overcomplicate the sales process, with a form on their website and in-person discussions about projects:

Now compare this to the laconic approach of GAGAT AM:

Their message is straightforward: If injection molding is too unwieldy and MJF too expensive for your project, come to us, and we will take care of it. Clean and simple, problem solved.

They provide a minimalistic widget where the customer can upload, spec, order, and pay for models, all in one go. Doesn't get simpler than that, right?

Wrong. What if the customer could simply send an email with his RFQ, models attached, and get an offer in both pdf, and weblink format in their inbox?

And what if, once the order was placed, a full-blown, best-in-class production management system like Co-AM could take over?

Credit Materialise

That's all possible now. We will be demoing the complete setup at formnext, from Wednesday afternoon through Friday, at Materialise's booth, 12.1.C139.
