Make America Great?

It is hard to make something great again when it has never been great to begin with. America has never been great in its history, starting back to George Washington.

He never even wanted to be president! He was pulled in, kicking and screaming, against his wishes. All he wanted to do, was retire. America is a country that does not listen to what anyone wants, butts in where she does not belong, thinks she is big stuff, and wants everyone to show her respect!

What Americans need is to learn how to respect each other, how to get along with each other, and how to work together for the good of the other. The politicians claim that they want the best for the people, yet they are divided. What we need is to first remember where we came from, AND then, move ahead.

We seem to think we can bully our way into getting what we want, and bully others who do not do what we want. We bully other countries and taunt them that we are richer than them when we are in reality, poorer than most of them.

What most countries have that we do not have is a love for each other. Their families come first- they do not shove their elderly family into a nursing home and forget about them. They take care of them as it is an honor.

America can’t be made great again as it was never great to begin with.
