ENGSKO A/S Secures Major Order in Africa Due to A2i Project

Our member, ENGSKO A/S, has received a multi-million Danish kroner order as part of a Access2innovation, Danida-funded project aimed at improving living conditions for farmers in Uganda.

“We have just sold a large plant worth two million Danish kroner to the Ugandan company New Kakinga Millers Enterprises Ltd. The agreement was made possible with the help of Access2innovation’s employee in Uganda, Yango Azando, who early in the Danida project arranged a meeting between us and the Ugandan mill New Kakinga to coordinate the groundwork for centers with Danish technology that will help Ugandan smallholders get more out of their harvest. That contact developed into the sale of a different type of mill than the one used in the project, but which New Kakinga will use in their own production in southwestern Uganda,” says Henrik Wollesen, CEO of ENGSKO A/S.

“We would not have secured this order if we hadn’t met New Kakinga through the Danida project.”

P4G Grant boosts Water Resilience for Kenyan Farmers

Collaboration to transform water access for smallholder farmers in Kenya by Grekkon Ltd. and Access2Innovation, supported by GrowthAfrica, TEMCompany, Nordic Impact Funds & P4G.

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership between GrowthAfrica, Grekkon Limited-Irrigation Hub, TEMCompany and Access2innovation. The partnership is aimed at enhancing water resilience for Kenyan smallholder farmers and represents a significant step towards a more water-resilient future.

This is a promising partnership between a Kenyan and a Danish company that aims to tackle critical challenges such as erratic rainfall and poor groundwater quality, transforming water access in arid and salinity-affected regions. By introducing climate-smart agricultural solutions, we aim to empower farmers to manage water more effectively in the face of unpredictable weather patterns. This initiative is set to reshape the agricultural landscape, equipping farmers with essential tools and knowledge for long-term success, explains Thomas Augustinus, program manager at Access2innovation.

The partnership comprises the following partners:

·?????? Grekkon Limited (lead business partner)

·?????? Access2innovation (lead administrative partner)

·?????? TEMcompany

·?????? GrowthAfrica

·?????? Nordic Impact Funds
