Yes, LED Lights have warranties from 5yr. to 15 yrs. Currently Demand Lighting is working on a product that can go 100,000 hours. Using 100K hours, a lamp can be on 12 hours a day - for 365 days a year, the life span can be over 22 yrs. depending on the application and the product. If you can use a light source for a long period, you will get to experience great economic benefit as well as green footprint. In accordance with the system design, negligible decrease in luminous flux eventually is normal.
LED's are superior as compared to other lot sources of lights in several applications. In order maintain to the product in good condition; it is important that you take into consideration the following factors.
Efficiency
A LED light and LED modules are manufactured and driven within a current range. There is the possibility to provide the LED in accordance to its features with varying currents from 350mA to 500mA and the like.
Acid conditions
LEDs that are operated under diverse conditions such as coastal weather during a high salt content, in plants that produce chemicals or use chemicals to treat or manufacture products plus indoor swimming pools are susceptible to grip together with LEDs. LEDs are made for such areas but only packed cautiously into a closed housing with a high IP ranking.
Heat
Heat affects the luminous flux and life cycle LEDs. Heat sinks avert the system from becoming too hot. Heated system means that the permitted ambient temperature of the LED light is surpassed. The longevity of the LED depends upon the how cool the ambient temperature is.
Mechanical effects
Mechanical stress whether be it during manufacturing, accumulating or simply handling the LED impacts the lifespan of an LED light and sometimes even destroys it completely. Watch out for electrostatic discharge (ESD), which causes an extremely short but elevated current pulse. The LED and the LED driver may be damaged by ESDs.
Humidity
Depending upon the damp surroundings, LEDs are quite strong. However, the electronic devices, metal parts and connections tend to get damaged quickly. They begin to rust and therefore, it is better to guard the LED system cautiously against humidity.

7 年I thought the most important part for longevity of LED lights is always heat dissipation! Because 70% electricity will be tranformed into heat. So heat dissipation is the biggest issue, from wafers, LEDs to fixtures.
