Major Components of a?Drone

Ever wondered what it takes to make a drone? ??

It may look simple from the outside but there's a lot going on inside.

???? Here are the essential parts of a drone:

1?? Drone Flight Controller: It's the brain of the entire drone. It receives input from the sensors and the remote control and gives output to the ESC.

2?? Drone Motors: A drone (Quadcopter) has 4 of these, 2 clockwise and 2 counterclockwise. These help life, turn, pitch, and yaw the drone.

3?? Drone propellers: These are the blades attached to the motors. They help push air down.

4?? Drone Camera: It works the same way as a digital camera. It can take photos or videos.

5?? Drone Antennas: The antennas are inside the legs of a drone and they transmit and receive signals from the controller.

6?? Electronic Speed Controller (ESC): The ESC is connected to the battery and the flight controller. It receives signals from the flight controller that helps it control the motors.

7?? Flight LED: These lights flash various colors to show the user where the drone is facing.

8?? The GPS Module: The global positioning satellite module uses 2 different positioning systems to determine the drone's location.

9?? Ultrasonic and obstacle avoidance sensors: The ultrasonic sensor calculates the height of the drone while the obstacle avoidance sensor avoids collisions.

1??0?? 3 Axis Gimbal: This includes the motors that keep the camera and the footage stabilized.

1??1?? Main Camera Board: This control the information coming from the camera sensor

1??2?? Power port module: This monitors the amount of power coming from the battery and distributes it to the ESC and Flight Controller.

1??3?? Joysticks: These translate to the physical movement of the sticks that control the motion of the drone.

1??4?? Main Remote Control Board: This controls the signals coming from the remote control.
