Today, TIME named Boomitra one of the 100 Most Influential Companies of 2024. Our soil carbon projects powered by satellite and AI technology are making an extraordinary impact.

This week, we announced that DP World, a global supply chain solutions company and Earthshot Prize Founding Partner, has purchased soil carbon removal credits from three of Boomitra’s projects.

This month, we celebrated one of our partners in Mexico, Cuenca de Los Ojos, for building biodiversity in the Chihuahua and Sonoran Deserts.

DP World Invests in Boomitra’s Global Carbon Projects

DP World has purchased soil carbon removal credits from three of Boomitra’s projects. This partnership empowers farmers and ranchers in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, India, Mexico, and Uruguay with additional income through carbon credits and fights climate change on a global scale.

Partner Profile: Cuenca de Los Ojos

Cuenca de Los Ojos, a Boomitra partner, is building biodiversity across 122,942 acres in Northern Mexico by replenishing groundwater, restoring habitats, and increasing carbon sequestration. The area hosts 52 mammal species, including endangered ocelots, jaguars, black bears, and beavers.

We interviewed José Manuel Pérez Cantú, Cuenca’s Conservation Director, and Ganesh Marin, a University of Arizona doctoral student and National Geographic explorer.
