As a psychotherapist and business coach, I've learned that thriving in both business and life comes down to three key things: financial smarts, mental resilience, and physical well-being. These are your trusted allies, ready to help you navigate through personal challenges, global crises like the pandemic, or unexpected shifts in politics.

Financial wellness gives you peace of mind and the flexibility to handle financial surprises without stress. I'm sure you've been caught off guard once or twice in your life. It's can be absolutely devastating.

Whether it's practicing mindfulness, talking to a therapist, or finding joy in hobbies, these habits strengthen your ability to stay calm and bounce back from setbacks, especially when they come out of left field. We all know what that feels like from the recent pandemic. Some of us thrived and others struggled severely and are still experiencing PTSD.

Regular exercise, healthy eating, and enough sleep keep your body strong and your mind sharp, making it easier to handle whatever life throws at you.

But let's face it—while these pillars are crucial, they're not always easy to maintain. The demands of work, family responsibilities, and the fast-paced nature of today's world can make it challenging to prioritize financial planning, mental health, and physical well-being. It requires dedication and sometimes a bit of trial and error to find what works best for you.

Over the past year I've been exploring ways to keep all of this is check and I've found lots of hacks and psych tricks to assist me and created a tool kit.

  • Finances- I use an app called You Need a Budget
  • Mental Health- Coaching, Therapy, Support Groups, Journaling, Slowing Down
  • Physical Well Being Joined a guided exercise gym and use an app for tracking, and CBT tools for my monkey mind: NOOM

As I reflect back over the past few years, by paying attention to these pillars I have set myself up for thriving and you can, too. By taking care of your finances, nurturing your mental well-being, and prioritizing your physical health, you're setting yourself up not just to survive, but to flourish in both business and life despite the challenges that may come your way.
