Maintenance of air compressor

FULL PERFORMANCE MAINTENANCE

Full PM Service is needed every 4,000 hrs or once a year, whichever comes first, and includes in some cases

· Changing of: Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Separators, Cabinet Filters  

· Cleaning and Blowing off Oil After Cooler Or Pressure Wash

· Resetting of Service hours 

· Inspection of Electronic Components 

PAY ATTENTIONS:

· After removing the oil-gas separator in the oil tank, check whether the oil tank is clean, and add new oil after cleaning; when installing the new oil separator, it is necessary to clean the sealing surface of the oil tank and the oil separator, apply a layer of grease.

· The sealing pad on the oil-gas separator has metal nails, which is anti-static. It does not need to be removed during installation.

· After installing the oil separator, pay attention to whether the oil return pipe is blocked when installing the oil return pipe. If so, clean it and blow through with compressed air before installation. In addition, pay attention to whether the installation position and depth of the oil return pipe are correct.

BASIC PERFORMANCE MAINTENANCE

Basic PM Service is needed every 2,000 hrs or twice a year, whichever comes first, and includes in some cases

· Changing of: Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter

· Cleaning and Blowing off Oil After Cooler 

· Inspection of Oil and Air leaks

PAY ATTENTIONS:

· If the machine set use synthetic oil, only oil filter and air filter need to be replaced for 2000 hours maintenance under normal conditions.

· When changing the oil of air compressor,It is better to stop the machine for 30 minutes; try to drain the dirty oil at each drain level, including the head of the unit, gearbox, oil barrel, cooler, each oil valve, oil pipe, etc.

· Precautions for filling new oil: the oil level of each oil drain must be determined and recovered; the oil filling amount should not be too full (add to the normal oil level after a few minutes of trial operation); the machine head of the unit must be filled with appropriate amount of oil.

· When removing the old oil filter, avoid dirt falling into the oil filter seat cavity. During installation, a layer of grease should be touched on the sealing surface of oil filter and oil filter seat.
