Kirkland, Wash., May 1st, 2023 – MainStreet Property Group LLC (MainStreet) (www.mspgroupllc.com), a full-service Kirkland real estate developer, today announced that former Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jackie Hizzey, and former Senior Vice President of Development Kim Faust have been promoted to Co-Presidents of MainStreet.

“I am thrilled to promote Jackie and Kim to the Co-President roles,” said Kelly Price, MainStreet Co-Founder, and former President. “We have worked together shoulder-to-shoulder since the founding of MainStreet and they have diligently prepared to lead the company forward. It’s an exciting time for MainStreet, Jackie and Kim — and with this promotion we are doubling-down on our commitment to Turning Spaces Into Places.”

With more than 35 years of collective experience in the real estate industry, Jackie and Kim have been instrumental in the company’s success since MainStreet was founded in 2011. Together they have led the development and construction of thousands of residential rental mixed-use units and worked on hundreds of millions of dollars of financing and property developments, with substantial commercial and retail spaces across the Puget Sound region’s greater eastside over the past 12 years.

Jackie and Kim succeed MainStreet Co-Founder Kelly Price, who is stepping into the position of Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Eric Campbell, who has been appointed Chairman.

“It is exciting to see these two strong and experienced women emerge as the day-to-day leaders of our company,” continued Price. “Eighteen months ago, we set a goal to expand Jackie and Kim’s leadership responsibilities, and together we developed a set of developmental achievements for this transition. We’ve been working toward this transition for some time now, and they’ve excelled during this period—accomplishing every milestone outlined while consistently taking on additional management responsibility for MainStreet and our organization-wide leadership team.”

“Their expertise has resulted in the cultivation of an amazing team and delivered dozens of market-leading new mixed-use communities and numerous awards/recognitions for our work; they’ve also been dedicated cultural stewards while consistently holding themselves to the highest level of performance,” continued Price. “I am continually impressed with their industry knowledge, professionalism, and leadership, and even as the real estate industry faces uncertainty, I believe they are uniquely positioned to lead MainStreet’s continued success through these complexities to deliver impact and vision, ensure our company’s future growth, operational excellence, and the continued curation of MainStreet’s culture of success.”

As MainStreet’s first employee, Jackie Hizzey has been a highly-influential leader throughout her tenure, building strong relationships across the company at all levels—both inside and outside the organization—including with lenders, investment partners, and consultants. Through her position, she has overseen MainStreet’s financing and project capitalization. Named one of the “10 Best CFOs of 2021” by Industry Era Women Leaders Magazine, Hizzey is passionate about empowering women in business leadership and brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate and construction industry experience to her new role where she will be responsible for leading the company to new heights.

Kim Faust has also played a key role in the successful development and construction of more than a billion dollars in projects at MainStreet. With her dynamic approach to leadership, Faust has fostered a collaborative environment that has resulted in many award-winning projects along with MainStreet being named NAIOP’s coveted 2019 ‘Developer of the Year.’ Recognized as one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 2016 “40 Under 40” recipients who have made significant strides in their careers, Faust continues to work toward creating better, smarter, and more sustainable communities while turning downtown neighborhood spaces that are underutilized into long-lasting walkable places for people to thrive.

“With our robust construction and development pipeline, and our vertically-integrated organization, Jackie and Kim have the platform and resolve to seek out new opportunities and lead us into the future,” continued Price.

In their new roles as Co-Presidents, Jackie and Kim will work together to continue the company's growth and success. They will draw on their rich experience, well-honed skills, and deep leadership abilities to drive the company forward to capitalize on previous successes, lead the MainStreet team forward, and create new opportunities for growth.

“For the past 12 years, Jackie and I have worked side-by-side at MainStreet alongside Kelly Price and Eric Campbell to create a company that delivers best-in-class mixed-use communities throughout Puget Sound.?We have strived to elevate the standard for development in the region and build a culture of engaged employees with a strong sense of purpose. This is a journey without end, and we are as motivated as ever to continue this success,” said Faust.

“Being named Co-President is an immense opportunity that we are ready and excited for,” said Hizzey.?"We can't wait to continue to weave together thriving local communities and create new city landscapes, all the while uplifting the image of women-led enterprises, especially in the realm of real estate. We are determined to shed light on the sheer talent and innovation that women-led businesses possess.”

As Chief Executive Officer, Price will continue to provide financial, strategic, operational, and cultural leadership to MainStreet and its entire organization. The transition will allow him more space to evolve the company’s long-term strategy and growth mindset as it plans for our future.

“We’ve worked through thriving and challenging economies, dedicated to delivering our best work together every day and continually learning through each experience,” continued Price. “I am confident that Jackie and Kim will continue to lead our amazing company, culture, and platform forward.”
