Mailroom Software Features We Created for Our Clients

Think about your staff and the day to day tasks at hand. No one wants to do the mundane tasks of manually cleaning up databases or doing the same task over and over. Well, lucky for EZTrackIt users, we feel your pain and we’ve added features to EZTrackIt to address these pain points. We just did a release that makes tracking packages even easier. You’ll have more time to take care of other tasks or perhaps, take a break!

Automatic Database Cleanse

EZTrackIt now offers an automatic process that will look at your entire database when you upload new information. This process will go through and permanently delete any records which were never used. (ie any recipient marked inactive that never had any packages)

If you have an office that updates their database regularly, this will definitely benefit you! We’ve asked a few of our private student housing and university clients what they think about this feature and… They love it!

Lock Fields

Now when you log packages in, you can “lock” the contents of any field that you like. For instance, if you have a bunch of packages for John Smith, you can process the 1st package and lock the carrier, package type and even the notes field with the information you want and the system will carry that information through for each package that you process for them until you unlock it.

It does not have to be all for the same recipient either. You could lock in the carrier or the notes field only and have that apply to all different recipients and packages until you are done. Lock Fields allows you to lock in any information you want for multiple packages so you don’t have to reset it each time. This benefits anyone who receives a lot of packages for one person.
