A First Look at Weald House
After months of anticipation, we’re delighted to finally share our latest residential project. A contemporary interpretation of the traditional black agricultural barn, Weald House blends minimalist architecture with a refined material palette. By carefully considering the site’s context, the design harmonises with the natural landscape whilst ensuring privacy and maximising panoramic views of the surrounding meadows and woodland.
Mailen Design and Domus Group at the AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards
We had the privilege of attending the AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards last week, where Domus Campus was shortlisted in the Fit-Out (Under ￡2M) category. It was a genuine honour to be recognised alongside some of the most respected architecture practices in the UK—firms whose work we’ve followed and admired for years. To not only stand alongside them but to be nominated in the same category was both inspiring and rewarding. It was a delight to spend the evening with our team and our friends at Domus as well. After all the hard work, it was great to let loose and celebrate together, knowing that we’ve created something truly special.
Building Innovation Awards Marks Fifth Nomination for Domus Campus
We’re excited to share that Mailen Design has once again been recognised for its innovative approach to sustainable commercial architecture, with Domus Campus nominated for Best Retrofit Innovation or Project at the 2024 Building Innovation Awards. This marks the fifth time Domus Campus has been shortlisted for an award this year, highlighting its impact and value as a remarkable example of sustainable architecture in London.
