Magnesium is the lightest structural metal currently available in the world.? It is approximately 34% lighter by volume than aluminum and 15% lighter than carbon. In addition to lightweight construction, a few other advantages that magnesium offers are excellent fatigue resistance, denting, buckling resistance and the highest known damping capacity of any structural metal. The result is a much smoother ride than any other material.

Ultra-light wheelchair wheels

The extremely light Magnesium Wheels significantly reduce the total weight of a wheelchair and look good. The 24” wheels weigh just 540 grams per wheel (without handrim and tyre). This lightweight makes the use of the wheelchair less intensive and therefore it puts less of a strain on the muscles of the wheelchair user.

 Comfortable grip coating optional

The handrims have a specially developed grip coating that stays cooler than rubber, without the usual rubber covers the handrims are also lighter. Every ounce counts!
